Our Story
IDGateway began in 2012, when Julian Parker and Nick Trollope saw how much time airport teams spent managing airside ID pass applications. Applications moved between people and systems, information had to be checked and decisions needed a clear record. They believed software could make the process easier for everyone involved.

That idea became AirportGateway, built around the work of airport ID centres, security teams, sponsors and applicants. It gave teams a more structured way to manage applications, checks and approvals, with a clearer view of each application’s progress.
As IDGateway grew, our team recognised a similar challenge for employers managing pre-employment checks. VettingGateway was developed to help HR, recruitment and compliance teams bring those checks into a clearer process they could manage in-house.

Today, we work with customers who need their processes to be both practical and dependable. Some are handling high volumes of airport ID pass applications. Others are coordinating background checks across their workforce. We take the time to understand how their teams work, where administration slows them down and what information they need to make confident decisions.

In 2024, IDGateway became part of Valsoft Corporation, giving us a strong foundation for continued development and growth. Our focus remains on building specialist software with our customers in mind and supporting the people who rely on it every day.
